New songs added to our Singing for Musical Theatre lists
We’ve recently published our newly-updated repertoire lists for Singing for Musical Theatre exams.
There are 42 additional songs at Grades 1 to 8, for Practical and Performance Grades, with a further 13 added to the ARSM Performance diploma list.
The new songs include music from recently premiered musicals as well as some old favourites and over 20 works for bass/baritone, to give singers with this voice type a broader choice of repertoire.
Discover songs from The Great British Bake Off Musical, Ride the Cyclone, The Little Mermaid, Some Like It Hot and many more. Additional repertoire for bass/baritone singers includes music from Guys and Dolls, Sweeney Todd, Sunset Boulevard, The Wizard of Oz and Titanic: The Musical.
With over 1,000 songs across the grades and a wide range of moods, characters and styles, we hope there’s plenty of choice to inspire everyone.
Candidates can perform the new songs in exams from January 2024 and you can find the updated syllabuses – with the new songs clearly marked – on the Singing for Musical Theatre page of our website.
