Who can make an ABRSM exam entry?

  • Candidates may be entered for an exam by a school, a teacher of music, a parent or guardian
  • Adult students over the age of eighteen may enter themselves for an exam
  • Anyone who makes an ABRSM exam entry becomes an 'applicant' and receives a unique applicant number

Who can make an exam entry online?

Applicants in the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong (via HKEAA) and Malaysia can enter ABRSM exams online.

Applicants from other countries must enter exams by post. Details of exam appointments and results will be provided by your Local Representative or contact.
