Make an exam entry
Before entering yourself or your candidate(s) for an exam you should read the following:

Who can make an ABRSM exam entry?
- Candidates may be entered for an exam by a school, a teacher of music, a parent or guardian
- Adult students over the age of eighteen may enter themselves for an exam
- Anyone who makes an ABRSM exam entry becomes an 'applicant' and receives a unique applicant number
Who can make an exam entry online?
Applicants in the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong (via HKEAA) and Malaysia can enter ABRSM exams online.
Applicants from other countries must enter exams by post. Details of exam appointments and results will be provided by your Local Representative or contact.
Please note that:
- The online form cannot be used for Ensembles exams or Diplomas, for which the appropriate paper form must be completed
- You must register as an exam applicant before the closing date in order to make an exam entry online – at least 24 hours in advance for entries in Singapore, Hong Kong (via HKEAA) and Malaysia and by 16.00 on the day before the closing date in the UK
The form caters for all solo graded music exams.
