International Sponsorship Fund

We have launched a new International Sponsorship Fund as part of our ongoing commitment to support and encourage music learning throughout the world.

The Fund is open to any individual, group or music organisation outside the UK and Ireland that is engaged in activities that inspire more people to participate in music, music teaching and learning.

Applicants can apply for up to £2,000 from the Fund for a 12-month period, with the potential for renewal. Those applying for funding should contact their local ABRSM Representative for an application form or download one below. Any applications received will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.

ABRSM actively encourages applicants to work with their local ABRSM Representative when filling out and submitting their application forms.

Sponsorship criteria

The following criteria are used by ABRSM’s International Sponsorship Fund Committee to assess applications. Proposed sponsorship schemes must provide a demonstrable link to ABRSM’s mission statement as stated above.

Additionally, any suggestions for sponsorship must explicitly state how they will impact one or more of the following, and must include criteria against which that impact will be demonstrated and evaluated:

• a) contributing to the reinforcement of ABRSM’s brand attributes and values;
• b) generating significant positive PR for ABRSM;
• c) increasing sales of ABRSM exams, publications or professional development courses;
• d) growing a market sector which either directly relates to ABRSM’s current work or is likely to be of value to ABRSM within the coming five years.
