Paul Harris
After studies at the Royal Academy of Music and the University of London, Paul Harris has now established an international reputation as one of the UK’s leading educationalists.
Paul now has over six hundred publications to his name dealing with a vast array of subjects concerning music education. His Music Teacher's Companion (co-written with Richard Crozier) won the UK's MIA Best New Book award and his latest book, The Virtuoso Teacher, has been received with great interest. He is the creator of the Simultaneous Learning system of teaching and writes regularly for many of the major international music magazines.
Paul is in great demand as a workshop and seminar leader all over the world. He is an examiner and adjudicator and is frequently asked to take part in national and international events. In 2010 Paul was appointed Lecturer in the Principles of Education at the Royal Academy of Music in London and more recently has been appointed visiting professor at the Conservatoire in Denmark. Paul's innovative teaching techniques have found support all over the world and combine thoroughness, imagination and practicality, the defining qualities of his outstandingly successful work.
