Looks like this one flautist is trying to beat James Galway who has 2 rings of diamonds on one of his flute....Andrea Griminelli has a flute entirely paved in Swarovski crystals!!! You can see it in this video HERE.

I wonder how much extra weight all those crystals add too?

It is sparkly but it certainly bulks the flute up. Perhaps that's one just for the wall display...!

Yeah, he's very good and I love the Carmen piece he plays (IMG:style_emoticons/default/note.gif) .

Never seen a flute like this one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) . AmandaL sums it up really 'bling' . Not sure if i'd want one personally (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) .
