Just finished 3 days and a dress rehersal of Oklahoma for this week and wow has it been good!

I'm sure I've bitten a dent in my upper lip though I've played THAT much, but it's been such a good experience, the cast were nice, the orchestra was funny (and around my age which is good)

The guy who played Will is just IMMENSELY talented, had the lead role in the Sleeping Beauty ballet at the Liverpool Empire (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) "Andrew" was actually a real American! and Ado Annie is probably the funniest person I've seen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's a shame it's over now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) but there's always other things to look forward to like Les Miserables next month in school (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (29th November - 2nd December)

Glad to hear it went well. It is upsetting when shows leave. I felt so upset after Joseph finished. Good luck for Les Mis!

Yeh- there is always that anti-climax after a show. Sometime you just wish it didn't have to end. Glad to hear it went well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If you want to be reminded what a good show it is, watch the Trevor Nunn production - excellent in every way, bar one guy's accent!

It was fab!

The funniest thing about last nights rendition is that Aunt Ella fired a gun to stop a fight, but the sound never happened, so the woman playing her yelled "BANG!" and continued with her lines (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Might join forces with one of the clarinetists and get a petition to do another musical next month *grin*
