There must be a very good reason why she's left her car there...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

To go and do her Xmas shopping and save on parking fees? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Aarrgghh! Feeling really old now! It's my first day of never again being the mother of a teenager. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

(Didn't think this was worthy of the real Aarrgghh thread, but it seems like a milestone somehow.)

No, no!It's not a screaming time - it's a time for real congratulations on what you have achieved. I don't know how many teenagers you have survived but I bet you have done a good parenting job. Now relax and enjoy the future!

I bought my daughter a book for her birthday called "Polly and the piano" about a dog which belongs to a concert pianist. The book included a CD of piano music. My daughter has been listening to it constantly since her birthday last week and is particularly enamoured with Chopin's ballade. This evening she asked me how long she would have to wait before she would be able to play it.
Nothing like a bit of ambition (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Something's gone wrong with Metcheck's forecasting.

Next Friday, winds of 300mph are forecast in London. I somehow doubt this...
