Had a super few days in Alnwick - the B&B was luxurious, we bought a stack of books from Barter Books, joined the National Trust and visited a few places, ate out at a different restaurant each night, and Mrs Stetenorve only bought 2 new pairs of shoes!

My violin strings are not like cheese wire. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) They are nice strings, and my violin has a nice sound as well. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Except she doesn't when I play her. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Compared to 'cello strings, they feel uncomfortable. I'm guessing it's me, not the strings...

Agree, a nicely played violin is a joy to behold (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I had a try of both katyjay's and Andy-piano-flute's violins. Very nice, but, for me, I've chosen the right stringed instrument. Even with 94 clefs to manage (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
