Cooking a pot of beans

Surely this thread's meant to be "What ARE you doing ..." not "What have you BEAN doing?"! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

They have bean cooking for a while now..

*resists posting a bean-related pun* (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

You mean 'half-baked' puns or the fact that they're soon to be 'has-beans'? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

I can't think of any more bean puns, but the fact that beans are known as the musical fruit has got to be worth something...

Still tasting good today.

http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/other-r...utter-bean-stew -- I didn't use Mr Oliver's recipe, but that's basically the same one. I added leeks and carrots because they needed eating.

I'm biding my time, for about five minutes, until the final of Counterpoint on Radio 4 @ 11pm, about to Sellotape together the pages of Billy Mayerl's Sleepy Piano, so that they don't keep sliding off the end of the music stand on my Clavinova.

Reading through my solutions to questions from the Further Maths FP3 papers on 'mapping from the z-plane to the w-plane' (now on the FP2 syllabus) in preparation for teaching tomorrow the five Further Mathematicians before their exam on Thursday! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

The Further Maths syllabus was shared between two teachers, but for some reason they "Didn't have time to cover it!", so 'Mathman to the rescue' again! I've done all the relevant questions from the papers from 2002 to 2009 inclusive, so that we can get straight down to the nitty-gritty, no faffing about. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Working on sorting this Burgmuller piece out to metronome... Amazing how much a constant pulse can help, and scary how many mistakes it points out! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Fingers crossed I can hold it together on Tuesday and move on to the next piece.. well, fixing a piece I started on a while ago anyhow.
