I looked at somebody's profile a couple of weeks ago and went to their website or youtube area or some such.

This pianist was a young lady in her late teens and I forget her name.

One of the videos was of a Toccata (I think) about Grade 7 or 8 standard I guess. I cannot find the person or the video; I thought I had bookmarked it.

Whilst I am here a question about cross-posting. It is generally frowned upon in boards like this. How does one maximise the numbe of people who see a post? It strikes me this would be better placed in Viva Piano.

Thanks

It's generally frowned upon, yes, with some exceptions. Personally speaking, I'd have no problem with you posting it in Viva Piano as well, but whether others would, I don't know.

Occasionally it does leave you in a quandary, especially when it's a thread that would be appropriate for both piano and organ and you're not sure which would elicit the more fruitful response.

If you think she might miss a post/thread, you could put a message in your signature asking whoever it is to PM you...

(and then contribute to every thread if you want to maximise the number of people who see it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif))
