I've decided to explore the diploma repertoire for possibly the DipLCM or DipABRSM. Any piece recomendations? I heard this one on youtube and thought it was way cool-

Brouwer's Canticum

Well it rather depends what you are interested in. Bear in mind they want the Dip to be a general programme (eg mixed repertoire) such as you might play at a small local music society. I've known people do: (all DipABRSM)

Dowland Earl of Essex (that's in lute tuning)
Falla Homenaje
Giuliani sonata 1st mvt
Torroba Madronos
Tarrega Recuerdos
Sor Fantasie
Weiss Tombeau

Gosh its a long time since I've heard Canticum! ( about 18 years!)

There aren't many pieces there I'd actually want to avoid.

Thanks for the suggestions. Brouwer's Canticum just kinda blew me away, as i've never heard anything like that before and i thought it would make a nice contrast to what you would typically expect to hear from the classical guitar.
