Haven't tried them, but Nutella is popular! Peanut butter is usually best for mice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Rats seem to love Maltesers though - a friend of mine caught dozens of them in his back garden! What's made me happy - securing a really nice venue for the 2nd Grand Gathering (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) *plug* |

Why is anyone wasting maltesers on rats????? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I only do it occasionally, and not to lure them in to traps! It's the easiest way to get medicine in to them - cut a malteser in half, drop the medicine on the biscuity part, give to rat. Who scoffs it down in glee, rather than strenuously objecting to the yukky tasting medicine.Erm, what's made me happy today...not having to give any rats medicine for several months now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

OK, I'm now convinced! Will buy some maltesers to try in my rat traps, and will report the body count in due course (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ninja.gif)

Running a really enjoyable session on the London CT ABRSM course today - lovely group, very enthusiastic and willing (and I met Dove)!
Pity about the journey there, which nearly killed me...but, hey, this is a 'Happy' thread, so I won't dwell on that aspect... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) |

Another successful concert, accompanying a tenor, soprano, recorder plus some solos, and we managed to get the whole audience (elderly) joining in the finale, 'We'll meet again'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

A gloriously sunny day in the garden. I have actually managed to defeat something like 12 square metres of brambles with brush cutter and secateurs. "Helped and applauded" by my two kittens and one grown up cat who then gave me a lovely display of how to chase one another up and down the wisteria and the kaki tree.
