I'm not sure it's reasonable to be picky about editions if you want music for free (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Most of the stuff I play is in the public domain so I don't buy any of it, but this means I just use whatever editions IMSLP has available.

there's a version on IMSLP that mentions paderewski. Don't know if that's the edition you want though. According to the site its non-public-domain in the US.

Paderewski died in 1941 which I think means his music only came off copyright at the earliest last year: any later editions will still be under copyright to the editor/publisher. Consequently legal free editions may be hard or impossible to find: Good luck.

QUOTE(PianoNotes @ Apr 19 2012, 07:51 PM) *

Does anyone know where I can download this version for free? Thanks.

It is on the Petrucci/ISMLP web site, here:

http://imslp.org/wiki/Waltzes,_Op.69_(Chop...3%A9d%C3%A9ric)

If you scroll down the page you will find all the major editions (Kullak, Mikuli, Joseffy, Debussy and others) until you arrive at a scan that claims to be the Paderewski edition.

However as I do not own the Paderewski edition of the Waltzes myself I am unable to check whether the on-line copy is genuine.
