I am taking my Grade 6 clarinet next year and am practising Entanglement by James Rae

Does anyone know what tempo the examiner will look for?

The tempo given in the score is 'frantic'

The tempo on the AB download doesn't seem particularly frantic to me http://www.abrsmdownloads.org/index.asp?a=4&b=6 but I don't know this piece so can't really comment. In my experience, the tempo on the AB downloads is usually a bit quicker than they need to be.

This is one of comparatively few ABRSM recordings where the tempo is reasonably accurate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
