I wonder, does anyone remember a video that was posted a while ago (maybe a long while ago, I can't remember) that was a youtube video of a really cool variation on Chopsticks? (Or it might've been Heart and Soul, but anyway, something which you wouldn't think would ever sound good again...)
I've been looking, but I can't find it... |

Isn't it funny how life just seems to tie you inexplicably to certain people... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
And usually in the ways you'd never, ever see happening. |

Does she really think that, or was it that the size 12 were in a sale / there on the hangers / otherwise available and she thought they'd do? In the same year (over 15 years ago now) I was bought items of clothing in a size 8 by my boyfriend's mother, who thought I was skinny and needed feeding up; and size 16 by my mother, who thought I'd been putting on weight recently. As far as I remember I was pretty much a standard size 12 at the time. I'd be very happy to be a standard size 12 today! |

Whilst I was at college my mum knitted me a jumper. Even then I was 6' 3" or so, so when she wasn't sure that it would be long enough she just continued with adding a few more rows. When I got it, it was huge! Fortunately though, not quite so huge that I couldn't wear it.
However, like many of my clothes I found that when I returned home at the end of each term at least one of my two sisters would be wearing them - my rugby shirts were the first to disappear and this jumper was apparently just the thing, worn with a belt and with the sleeves rolled up (rolled up a long way, it must be said!). Shirts too, closely-fitting on me, baggy on them yet long enough to be worn as a dress (with a belt and accessories)! |

She said she got a size 10, then thought 'If it doesn't fit, I can't be bothered to go back to the shop and get a new one' (though she's going back anyway to return the size 12! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)) so got a 12 as well. (the 10 fitted) |

Personally I think it is great so long as you know where you are going! |
