Newbie Group: Members Posts: 8 Joined: 13-January 10 From: Australia Member No.: 87131	Hi all, so unfortunately, I have failed the sight-reading section of dipABRSM when I took my exam last year (Jun 2011). When's the last time I can retake this section before I have to prepare another whole recital and sit the exam again? Thanks in advance

I asked them the same question some time last year but it's worth checking that they haven't changed any regulations on this!

I think June 2014, but I have to say that if it were me I would just want to get it over with ASAP, especially since the QS part is so short and is heavily influenced by luck (in terms of what kind of piece you are given - mine happened to be easy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)).

Cheers, I'd love to get it over and done with!! It's just that I'm in the middle of a very big exam this year (finals before I go into university/freshman) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
