I don't think I should comment DC. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (He looked a bit like a certain Bradely Walsh (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif))

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That's a shame. You passed though! At the moment, remebering not to release the clutch too quickly is enough of a challenge for my little brain! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yes, eventually!

QUOTE(fsharpminor @ Apr 4 2008, 09:06 AM) *

I was born and brought up in sight of Ilkla Moor, from the Keighley end. To be accurate, the whole moor area is known as Rombalds Moor, a legendary giant Rombald lived there, and there is a statue of him in Keighley centre.
Ilkey Moor is really just a small part of Rombalds Moor on the Ilkley side, but the whole moor of Rombalds Moor is generally referred to locally as Ilkley Moor.

The complete verses are:-

1. Wheer 'as tha bin sin' ah saw thee. On Ilkla Moor baht 'at..... etc

2. Tha's barn ter cacth thi deeath o' cowd. On .................

3. Then we shall 'ave ter bury thee. On..................

4. Then t'worms'll come and eyt thee up. On...........

5. Then t'ducks'll come and eyt up t'worms. On................

6. Then we shall come and eyt up t'ducks. On............

7. Then we shall all 'ave etten thee !. On.........

Well, F#minor was the last person I'd have expected to forget the second verse: Tha's bin a-coortin' Mary Jane. On ...

I wouldn't like anyone to think there is no sense of romance in the Yorkshire male! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

One annoying recent trend among some people is to play their MP3 players etc. at full volume on public transport (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) . It's strange, but you never hear Mozart being played on these things at full blast... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

-----------

and another thing...why is my MSN at the moment continually 'encountering a problem' and therefore it 'must close'...

Modern technology... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I am staying at a hotel on Weds & Thurs nights. I have just looked at it online to see what check-in time is (2pm; but I'm going to pitch up at about 12.30 and see if they'll either let me check in, or hang on to my luggage in a secure place until after my meeting/dinner, so I don't have to lug it about all afternoon/evening).
In the hotel description, it listed 'features' of this hotel. One of which was:

Internal Corridors.

Well, it is nice to know that you don't have to clamber across balconies or through other people's rooms (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

At least it isn't saying 'connection actively refused' !

My friend was playing music from a computer today. I told him to put some headphones in as I was trying to compose. I didn't notice the headphones go in as he just turned the volume up so loud it made no difference!

Ee!

Hmm..

Apparently Durham University have done a study about facial expressions to see whether you can tell who wants a one night stand. The radio presenter is also from Durham University. Yay for Durham. (Couldn't find another article about it: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/...cle1015579.ece)

That was in the paper this morning.. I flicked past it though!

Why is it that packages ALWAYS come when you're out and the postman can never take it next door....

Even if I am in the postman tiptoes up the path, doesn't knock on the door, posts a while you were out card through the letterbox and runs away as quickly as possible!

Why is it that I'm the only competent person in this place?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

EDIT this place means my place of work, rather than forums, naturally

I really can't be doing with golf on television.

Picture of golfer hitting ball.
Picture of golf ball in sky.
Picture of golf ball landing on ground.

Repeat ad infinitum.

Not my cup of tea...

When i was signing in today (normally it's left signed in), i noticed the 'be invisible' option, which seems to mean that you're not listed on an active member's list...i swear there isn't one :S ...i'm most likely being extremely blind lol

I think I've let my mind wander too far lately... "I think it's the music from Swan Lake, you know, the bit with the goose!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
