About 6 feet of shelving...covering violin, piano, singing, flute, recorder and a few oddments.
In my husband's eyes, too much....and in mine, not enough! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

But musical scores are not like cars. A car is a car. It gets you around. Erm, I think some of us would disagree with that statement (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) A car is certainly not a car, you can't compare the beauty and driving experience of this - (IMG:http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/545023_10150732617113846_579003845_9636315_267793608_n.jpg) with something like this - (IMG:http://www.autospecifications.org/car-reviews/wp-content/uploads/hyundai-i10.jpg) As far as music goes I've got lots, well over 100 books, if not getting on for 200. Much of it is teaching resources and most has been gifted to me. |

Erm, I think some of us would disagree with that statement (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) A car is certainly not a car, you can't compare the beauty and driving experience of this - {Picture of old Triumph} with something like this - {Picture of new Hyundai} OK, the Triumph might be nice to look at, but the Hyundai is more likely to get you from A to B without breaking down. In a similar manner it would be nice if someone bought me some sort of fancy leather bound set of Bach's organ works, but for actual playing purposes I would be more likely to use tatty copies or internet print outs. |

I couldn't even begin to count.
90% of everything on all 3 piano diploma lists at least. Add to that an equal amount of works that most people have never heard of. Add to that 100+ flute/keyboard/recorder books from when I was learning. Add to that orchestral scores. Add to that a box literally bursting with naughty photocopies/printouts. That much. |
