This is a long shot, I know, but I was wondering if anyone had a clarinet that I could possibly borrow until this Sunday at the very latest? My clarinet has gone in for a service and I need a clarinet for my concert band rehearsal on Saturday. I thought I could use my naff plastic clarinet but since it has not been touched for over 7 years, most of the pads have worn away (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Obviously, I would need someone who lives local; I live in the S(rude word here, which will no doubt be filtered so I'm not going to even attempt to put it in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) )horpe in North Lincolnshire. I've looked at renting from a shop but minimum term in a month and I really don't need it that long! PM me if you can help me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

The place name you mention will type perfectly well on this forum! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Have you contacted your local LEA music service? Perhaps they'll help (though probably for a charge). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The concert band which I play in is through the local music service so I will ask if the college have one spare. I have tried to see if any friends have one spare but have not had any luck so far (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) otherwise I will have to miss the rehearsal - a lie in for me instead (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Thanks for the advice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) P.S. Seriously, I can type Scunthorpe no problem?! |

Aww, thanks for the offer; would cost me a bomb to trek all that way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'll let you know if I get sorted! |
