A date for your diaries : the excellent CASS single reed playday at Kneller Hall (Twickenham rail, South West London) is being resurrected for 2010! It's on Sunday 31st October. They'll have lots of trade stands, plenty of playing opportunities and lots of big clari and sax names attending. You don't have to be a member of CASS to come along. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I shall be there, hope lots of other forumites will join me! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yay.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clarinet.gif)

That sounds great. I vaguely remember being involved in some kind of playday organised by the same people years ago. I'll consider it a bit nearer the time. It is quite far away from here though! A friend of mine is training there at the moment.

It's well worth doing if you can make it Clare. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'd like to go to this but don't think I can justify another one this year having already been on the Nottingham saxophone weekend!

hmmmm......I could maybe suggest it as my early Christmas present though?...... (thoughtful scheming!)..

I have a feeling my saxophone teacher Alistair Parnell is one of the tutors on this, and i'm sure it'll be a brilliant day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

...hmmmmm... maybe.

Sundays are theoretically doable, and Twickenham isn't too far. I'll have to work it out nearer the time though.

I've got the form for this now, and I'll scan it into my computer : if anyone wants a copy, drop me a PM/email etc. , or reply to this thread. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes, please - It'll probaly be a while before I make my mind up, but at least this way I'll have the info when I do.

I'll be going!

I've just filled in my form as if I don't do it now I know I'll forget.
Looking forward to seeing you Barry and hopefully some others too.

Hope it's a bit warmer that it was in 2008 - I remember getting very cold. But it was a great day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks, Barry - actually I see the CASS have an online booking thingy on their website so I'm going to use that and save myself the price of a stamp.

Have you been to this one before?
