...a lot of you have been asking how MamaDaisy is after seeing her hobbling around at the Dyrham Park event. She saw her Orthopaedic Specialist yesterday and has been told that she needs a full replacement operation of the right hip. This will take place in around six to eight weeks time.

She thanks everyone (as do I) for their comments and enquiries. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Thanks x

Hi DaisyChain, please send my wishes to your mum. I cannot believe how on the ball she is - I really enjoyed chatting to her. Hopefully in the long run a new hip will give her her freedom back. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Me too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . It was great to see her again at Dyrham, but not so great seeing how much difficulty she had getting around, so hopefully the operation will sort that out for her.

Give her a big kiss from me! (but don't tell Mrs G (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )

Big hugs to you both (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) my gran had a hip replacement operation ten years ago-she can't believe the incredible improvement it made for her, and she's had no trouble whatsoever with it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) best wishes, DC.

She was obviously in a lot of pain when we met her, and I'm glad that she's going to have some treatment for it. Give her a hug from me too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
