Ok, so i was just wondering what level people are studying music at, and how many people are in your class. In my GCSE class there was about 12, but in the year below us theres about 26 (because hardly any of them actually play instruments), but in our AS class there is only 5, and the A2 class only have 2 people!! We're quite a big school as well so it's not that theres no people there to take music.

I'm doing Intermediate 2 music which is a little bit higher than a Credit level at Standard Grade Music. (Don't know if there is an equvilent in England).

There are around 15 people in my class most of whom are doing Standard Grade. I think the other music class is a lot bigger, not sure though.

I know that the GCSE group this year was pretty small, 9 or 10 maybe? (Don't know exactly since I wasn't in it). The AS group at the school I'm going to in September was 8 this year, so probably around the same for me when I start AS Music (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Gosh, we had a class of about 24 for AS Music and we were 1 of 3 sets.
For A2 we have a little under 20 and we're 1 of 3 sets still...

I'd rather have a good teacher/resources and a bigger class than a very underfunded music department and just me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

In my fast track music GCSE class there were 7 of us.

Not doing AS next year but there will only be 2 doing it. I really would, but seeing as I want to do Medicine it would be a bit pointless (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
My friend Hannah who is doing it had to get her parents to write loads of letters, phone loads of times etc just so she could carry it on!

20 people in my GCSE class... far too many!
A quarter of those people don't even play an instrument! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
