David Wheater is NOT going to Newcastle. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) And yes, even him going to *insert name of the team you hate the most* would be better than him going across to the barcodes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Do you have the same attitude towards Sunderland?...

Comfortably in mid table, potential to go better, an emphatic promotion season last year...don't get it...

If they were in West Ham's position, I'd understand. But they're not.

I can only assume this paves the way for Martin O'Neill to be their next manager...

Do you have the same attitude towards Sunderland?...

I think the reason why Newcastle snooping around Wheater has irritated me is it feels like they're saying "haha we're in the Prem and you're not so now we're going to have your players because we're in the Premiership". Sunderland have been in the Premiership for longer now, it's not like they've just gone up and are rubbing it in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I hope not. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) He's too good for their chairman to waste.

I have to admit that I'd had the same thought earlier. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Yes. Babybird and I were talking about that earlier. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I know it's kind of mean, but part of me feels that they should go down now to teach Mike Ashley a lesson. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) You'd have thought he's have realised from the season before last that unnecessary managerial changes can = relegation. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
