I live in Darlington now. Its really gone downhill lol

Got Pachelbels canon in my head. Which doesn't bother me in the slightest since I think its absolutely beyond divine and beautiful.

I think we all get earworms (I like that word) from time to time. Does anyone but me have a reliable way of getting rid of them? Mine works for me but probably won't work for anyone else: I sing the Wombles Christmas song (All together for the chorus now: "Aaaaall daaaay long we will be Womb-e-ling in the snow, We wish you a womb-e-ling merry Christmas, da dum da dum da dum da, Aaaaall day long etc.") This, for me, will displace Anything!. Of course, merely having this as an earworm instead would be no better, indeed might well be worse. However, the good bit is that having displaced the original earworm this song then disappears itself, leaving me with a clear head, at least for a while.

Well, the last thing I wanted to cause after a good afternoon's singing was offence. Obviously I have! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I wasn't happy with my playing of NW so was pleased that corenfa had gone from Hippo to Wood. It was only ever meant to be a joke.

Gaudete - I'm sure everyone will know this but if you don't recognise the title, there are lots of Youtube clips! It was played by the Senior Strings at our music centre concert yesterday and I think it's just hauntingly beautiful and extremely Christmassy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Sometimes I won't get a whole tune stuck in my head, but maybe 2 bars over and over and over again. It's usually bars that begin a sequence, but in my head I can't modulate and so the sequence happens over and over again in the same key. It's marginally annoying, but not as annoying as my friends find it when I repeat the same thing to them all day!
