Reading beat Northampton Town! Still can't be beaten! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What a game this must have been: Inverurie Loco Works 3-9 St Johnstone

In the end, Plymouth lost 1-0 all because of a penalty...

Yeah I'm a bit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) but the experience must have just been so good for the players even if we had lost heavily.

Yep, nearly the start of the football season again!

I hope Charlton win something this season (more hope than expectation, but you get used to that as a Charlton fan! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ).

I think we'll do OK this season. Can't see beyond Chelsea for the title, but Arsenal I think will do better, and I think will run Chelsea very close.

It's possible all 3 promoted teams will stay up - they all look decent outfits. I think Sheffield United may struggle though, and also Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and I think maybe even Everton will struggle.

Up from the Championship - I'd say keep an eye on Leeds, Crystal Palace, and if you want a Watford-style 'surprise package' - it may be worth watching Plymouth Argyle.......

That's what I like to hear! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I can't see us going up this year but top half of the table would be very nice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

....no-one gave Watford the time of day before last season. Usually there's a surprise team in the Championship, and I think Holloway may be the deciding factor.....

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) We'll have to buy a few defenders first.

My predictions for those teams that will go up to the Premiership: I think Leeds should do it, and I have a feeling Preston and Wolves could also join them. As for relegation from the Premiership, I'll say Watford, Aston Villa and Sheffield United will go down.

I'm going to try out my luck and say that Leyton Orient will follow Southend into the Championship. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The Football League & Scottish League has started today. The SPL started last weekend. The first Premiership games are in a fortnight and the first Conference games are next weekend.

Shame Leyton Orient are currently losing (against Port Vale). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
