Hi recorder fans

Where oh where do I find this book, set for the higher grades Treble Recorder. I cant find it in either of my local music shops nor online (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Maybe I'm just being thick, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) but could anyone point me in the right direction, I'd be really grateful.

I just Googled Baroque Solo and got at least two answers in the first page - sheet music online seem to want a login though. However, my favourite recorder music supplier, Mr Everingham at Saunders Recorders, says on his site that the book is no longer available, and that he has found it impossible trying to get reliable contact with the publishers of this...

Well I've seen it on an American site for about $30 plus shipping or even from Australia. Surely this can't be right for a book listed in the new syllabus. Surely someone in the UK must do it??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

It sounds as if someone did - but that that publisher has communication difficulties.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I know that this particular publisher was also the one which didn't reply to me at all when I was seeking permission to copy their music for the examiner for my dip exam last year.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) I hope you copied it anyway, then.

This is actually quite annoying cos it seemed like such a good book. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

If it's actually set by ABRSM, aren't they supposed to get it for you if you have trouble locating it? I think if you visit their publishing arm they should be able to help you.

Luckily I was doing the exam with Trinity, who don't state this as a requirement; I just tried to see how difficult it was to do after reading of others' hassles with this one.
Only other thing I can think of - I'm no fan of trying to buy instruments off eBay, but music? Might someone have put a copy up there?

I think ebay's fatal, actually. I wind up buying things I didn't even know I didn't need (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) and all the wasted time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I'm still mulling it over at the moment. I might ring the number off the Saunders site, but he clearly doesn't have much time for them anymore. So it just seems really strange that the music shops aren't going to be stocking something recommended on the syllabus, but they seem to be quite slow on gettin in most of the new material required for the new woodwind syllabus, I think.
