Oh yes they are....mine are online from a session 22nd/23rd March.

Team Bag came in with 1 pass, 7 merits, 1 distinction ranging between 115 & 136.

Am just mightily relieved at the moment to be honest as it's been a tough few weeks.

A strong pass for my AB Grade 8 sax pupil. He was very relieved as he hadn't put much effort in and was far too laid back about the whole thing in my opinion! Now the wait begins for a TG Grade 3 and Grade 7 sax that took place today... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My Grade 6 pupil took her exam last Wednesday, 28th. Wonder if there's any chance of a result before Easter?
She emailed me today to say that the scales, sight reading and pieces all went well, but that the aural was 'just awful'. We'd worked really hard on it as she's a quiet, shy girl and lacks confidence. I was very pleased with the improvement she'd made on both singing the melody and sight singing, but she told me that she was so nervous that she 'couldn't sing properly'. I had only one entry this session (a competent grade 3 piano pupil) and his exam was on Thursday 22nd. The result came through this evening - a pass at 114 - so I would say (a) I have never before had a result in 9 days and (b) I have never before had a result emailed to me on a Saturday evening. The examiner was a professional performer and was harsh in his marking, but as he had flu and was feeling very unwell perhaps he could be forgiven. However full marks to the Board for the quick result.

Well done to your pupil. My results from 21st aren't there- but the examiner was a new classical examiner (but experienced jazz examiner) so maybe they are double checking the standard or something!

Well done Team Bag.... that's a similar range to what I am expecting from a hard session!

The teacher WASN'T hanging on to the results, the board just took a long time, and that was a visit to a school. I have very rarely had results in less than 3 weeks from ABRSM.

I'm very surprised that W thinks it is abnormal to wait 3 weeks for results.

For the relatively few AB exams I've taken myself or prepared students for only one result has been a day or two over two weeks.

Three weeks today and still waiting. As I said before this is usual for ABRSM exams from my experience. I just hope they come before school breaks up on Thursday. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
