Trying out a Handbell group tonight. I may have found an alternative to my choral society! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It's a really big group (about 16 people) with a LOT of bells - the bass ones are so big that they have to be struck with a mallet rather than rung. It was really fun playing handbells again after a 3 or 4 year gap, but the group is very good, so I have a lot of improvement to aim for. It's the AGM next week, so I shan't be going, but they've asked me to come back in a fortnight, so it's good so far. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Played piano at derby uni for fifteen minutes while students were on their break from lecture and have been told by no less than three people how lovely my playing was!!
