About 6 feet of shelving...covering violin, piano, singing, flute, recorder and a few oddments.

In my husband's eyes, too much....and in mine, not enough! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

But musical scores are not like cars. A car is a car. It gets you around.

Erm, I think some of us would disagree with that statement (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) A car is certainly not a car, you can't compare the beauty and driving experience of this -

As far as music goes I've got lots, well over 100 books, if not getting on for 200. Much of it is teaching resources and most has been gifted to me.

Yep (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) haven't had the chance to have a proper look at it yet but no doubt I'll get round to it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Some good stuff in those though they've also turned out to be good ammunition for teachers....

OK, the Triumph might be nice to look at, but the Hyundai is more likely to get you from A to B without breaking down.

In a similar manner it would be nice if someone bought me some sort of fancy leather bound set of Bach's organ works, but for actual playing purposes I would be more likely to use tatty copies or internet print outs.

I couldn't even begin to count.

90% of everything on all 3 piano diploma lists at least.

Add to that an equal amount of works that most people have never heard of.

Add to that 100+ flute/keyboard/recorder books from when I was learning.

Add to that orchestral scores.

Add to that a box literally bursting with naughty photocopies/printouts.

That much.
