Here's something for you to get up to whilst Im away! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

All Eddie lorries have girls names, today I have seen Alison Joy.
Now lets have some more.
How many can you post before I'm back on July 4th ??
Who can post the most ?
Extra points if you spot one of ther rarer ones like a petrol tanker or a horse box.
You ladies might find there is one with your name on it !

Rule: You can only post it on the day you saw it !

I waved to one at the end of our road the other week. Didn't catch the name though.

The names are so small that it's difficult to see them when you're trying to keep your eyes on the road!

Oh, it appears there are male names as well, I understood it was all females.
For a fee you can have your name put on a waiting list so one will eventually be named as your wife, gilrfriend/partner etc.

The thing is we're all such careful drivers that we're concentrating on the road rather than the name of the lorry.

Too many Turners lorries around here anyway!

Ah yes Turners of Soham, very many on A14 !
You also get a lot of Eddies french relative, who rejoices in the name of Norbert Dentressangle !

I was stuck in a queue on the motorway with "Glenis" a few days ago. If we hadn't been stationary I never would have noticed her name.

I think I should find my old anorak and bobble hat, so I can wait on the motorway slip road with a [paper] notebook and pen. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Coming over the M62 today I saw 'Janine' 'Indra' and (darn it I have forgotten) - something like Annabelle Jo.

It seems the older lorries just have a single name, but the newer ones have two. (I wonder if there is a Maggie May?)

Tip - Dont forget to look for Tesco lorries, as they often have an Eddie tractor unit on the front
