....Well, I'm not sure. ....That's why I'm sitting here.

I have a cup of tea waiting for me in the pot, and while I drink it I could do some ironing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) , or try out some new music for pupils next week (slightly less (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ), or read the gardening section of the paper (not sure because of the soggy ground and delightful weather (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ), or water the lettuce growing in the old washing up bowl in the greenhouse (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) , or be utterly lazy and read the nice new Sharpe novel that's winking at me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) !

Cut up little bits of card and write things on them and put them in little plastic boxes. The things some teachers do!

Put my paws up for the evening.

Today was hard graft featuring a couple of "jugular jobs" - y'know, where they jus' stick in a straw and suuuuck..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That said the majority were fab but my tinnitus is whistling away nicely right now so tis time to stop.

Collapse in a heap. Out at 8.30 this morning for beginners' orchstra with sax. Followed at 10.30 by main orchestra with cello. Only two of us there this morning (two are on holiday and two are awol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ). Finishes at 1.30 (we do have a tea break (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ). I had to sight read my way thorugh an Indiana Jones film score... with significant cello solos (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) . We also worked on the last movement of Beethoven's 5th and several other items - knackered at the end of that.

So... drove home, quick lunch and back out at 3.20 to head back to Chester for my first tutored string quartet session at 4 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

So... adding it all up, I've had 3.5 hours on cello and 1.25 hours on sax today (IMG:http://www.emoticonsfree.org/wp-content/uploads/cool0012.gif)

EDIT: fix typos - sigh

What did you do while you were waiting, Lou?? Baz informs us you have an impressive Bunsen Burner to cook your bean (singular) on during June's Operation Tent....which surely needs practice.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
