As an aside f#m, how long does it usually take you to compile these lists? A little while, I would have thought.

Maximum 10 minutes. Its quite easy to do it from The Sporting Life website, by going to 'Racecards' for the day,or 'Fast Results' for each of the previous days meetings
Of course Im sure I miss some runners. Normally I only do 'Musicals' if expected odds are 10-1 or better. When it comes to forumites, I only know some forumites real names (not even yours), so I only include if its one I know, as well as any user names that come up or ones very similar or a slightly different spelling, eg MAGGIE MEY today. I am away for the next two weeks. I'll post todays results tomorrow, and do tomorrows runners, but after that I wont be on line until Monday 9th August. I may get a sneaky look (or even make a short post) at posts from my Iphone whilst I am away but clearly it wont be possible to continue this thread form Switzerland. If anyone else wants to continue the thread whilst I'm away, or maybe just on some days if you have time..... |

Considering the short odds of yesterdays runners, we did very badly - even Calypso Magic at 1-3 on fav only came second.
The day was saved by SHARP SOVEREIGN, winning at 11-8fav. Chepstow has been abandoned today. The Inspector of Courses has ruled the course unsafe due to some turf damage. Best musicals:- LOUIS LUDWIG (Stratford 17.00) 11-10f MUSICAL SCRIPT (Epsom 19.20) 5-1 CEILIDH HOUSE (York 16.05) 5-1 MYJESTIC MELODY (Musselburgh 13.55) 8-1 SOCIAL RHYTHM (MUsselburgh 16.50) 10-1 INDIAN PIPE DREAM (Stratford 15.15) 10-1 Forumites: ILEWIN TOM and PENYFAN DAWN (Both at Fontwell) |
