Hi everyone,
As you may know, we will need to start preparing for the ABRSM Platinum Blend Café© Awards 2006 in June. I've got a small challenge which you might want to get involved in. The challenge is to design a logo for the awards, whether it's done on computer or by hand, and then post it in this thread via ImageShack® or Photobucket, or whatever you want to use. The deadline for this will be July 23rd, although preferably, I want the designs to be done as soon as possible. Then, on the first week of the awards, I will create a poll with the best logos. Whoever designs the best logo will win an award and will receive it in the Awards Ceremony in November. I might have a go as well, although my art skills are not that good! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) So, any volunteers? Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Car Expert |

It all started off in this thread. What we did with each category was that people PMed me with their nominations for each category, then the next week, I created a poll with the top 5 (ones with the most points/votes), then at the end, there was an awards ceremony where all the winners receive their awards.

Hmm... good idea! Thanks CE for pointing me to this thread. Maybe we should put in the year of the award in the award. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'll have to give the emu a phone call, see what his appearance fee is this year. |
