Well I have given the go-ahead to the builders to knock the wall down that separates the front room and the hallway to give the room another 3' - that means I can fit a grand in once all the revonation work is done. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Still toying with knocking down the middle wall but am loath to lose a dedicated dining room... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Folding doors? Then you have a choice. I've been toying with this idea for probably about 10 years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

That's what the builder suggested and is exactly what he's done in his own place, although I'm trying to keep within a budget and am not sure how expensive this would be... Also, the doors probably won't be great at keeping noise out when they are shut. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I've lost a sandwich.

I made it on Thursday morning. When I arrived at work, it wasn't in my bag. When I came home, it wasn't there either.

I actually don't have any idea where it is and I am sure nobody else has eaten it.

I want to find it before it goes moudly!

They are better than one might expect - my last flat had French doors between kitchen and living room, and when they were fully shut and latched, the washing machine and dishwasher noises both dropped to a barely perceptible hum. They didn't seem to be any fancy sort of insulated doors either.

I doubt they'd block out the volume of a grand piano though!

Could it have fallen out of your bag on the train or somewhere? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Received a letter today, 29th January, posted in Gibralter on the 15th December. Wishing me a merry Christmas. Where has it been for the last few weeks? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yesterday I got a Christmas card posted in Birmingham.
Maybe it went to San Jos? California instead of San Jos? Costa Rica, as a travel agent once wanted me to do...
