let's share the exam questions from yesterday

i did grade 8 and after i left the exam hall i realized i forgot to put the key signiture in my composition question 3, how many marks are they going to take off?

i found myself did ok in Q 2, 4 and 5 and the trio sonata question was tricky compared to the exercises i did.

after all the theory exams, i feel quite sad because i wouldn't have those fun theory lessons in school now, and i really need to have something to looking forward to, what is the next thing to do? AMusTCL? or the LCM one?

I really don't know how I did as I only did the exam on about 5 hours of preparation and one past paper, so to be honest I doubt I'll have passed!

I did find question two strangely easy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I was wondering if I'd missed something completely obvious.

There were a couple of tricky questions, especially in 4 and 5; I'd never come across Mesto before.

Fingers crossed, eh?

Yes I did, but it took quite a bit of looking for. I didn't find it first time round so left it and came back to it later. It wasn't very obvious.

Glad you found it obvious, but I'm confused. How do you know it was obvious? Did you sit Grade 7 on Thursday or are you taking Grade 6 in a few days time? On the General Music forum you say you are doing Grade 6 in a few days. Are you doing the theory exams backwards? No sarcasm intended.

And if both are true then how come you are taking exams in 2 different countries in the same session?
It's an interesting sort of arrangement. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Cheers

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was about two-thirds of the way through. Hope I got it right.

I'd never come across Mesto before.

Have you never sung "Star Vicino" with "piu mesto dolor"?
