Ha, I love coming in here and just having a nosy, because the rate of thought-jumping is rather high (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It makes me laugh!

Had visions of a cavalcade of VW Golfs gallavanting over the greens at Augusta, a bit like the taxicabs at the end of Carry On Cabby! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's well known on the forum how much I dislike TV golf, clavicembalo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

This is golf:

1) Shot of golfer
2) Shot of sky
3) Shot of ground
4) Go back to 1) . Ad infinitum...

Now, what about a mixture of the two?

When cars make a pit-stop, the driver gets out and plays a certain number of holes of crazy golf before getting back in the car and driving off again.

Or, five laps in the car, two in the helicopter (they've all got one - at least you'd think so when they visit Silverstone), back in the car .....

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) would the BBC buy the rights to that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

"I can't listen to too much Wagner, I start getting an irrational urge to go and conquer something"-I have NO IDEA who said this originally but my dad just wandered in, chucked a Wagner cassette at me and walked out...I'm absolutely decked (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Sounds like one of Woody Allen's.

I'm sure that in one of his films there's a large lady in one of those Viking helmets singing opera.

EDIT: Yes! "I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland."

That sounds about right, he's rather a fan of the odd bit of Woody Allen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
