Well after trawling through syllabi I have made a decision to take LCM grade 8 Jazz trumpet next year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm going to be spending quite a bit of time in hotels so thought it a good challenge to keep me away from the bar every night (obviously with my silent brass mute)! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I've not decided whether it will be summer or winter but I'm looking forward to the journey (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yay.gif)

At the jazz festivals I've been to, I always used to mainly watch the clarinet and sax players. Then I discovered Enrico Tomasso on trumpet - awesome!

Have fun, Juniper!

Nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I like modes - and I'm sure the improvising will be fine for you : you did really well at Birmingham with it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Improvising's the easy bit! Playing all those dots in the right order at the right time is much scarier!

Sorry, couldn't resist! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

But on a more serious note, you're certainly no slouch at improvising, and the more you do, the better you'll get. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
