West Brom have given the FA permission to speak to Roy Hodgson about the England managers job.

Interesting development...

Yeah I alwys felt it wasnt a job for Harry. Rather too brash and outspoken, likely to say something he shouldn't.
Roy is the safe choice and for me the obvious candidate

Oh and Im pleased Vauxhall Motors survived the drop from Blue Square North. Chester will be in this league next season too.

Good result for Newcastle this evening. Should be an interesting run to the end of the season with Man City and Everton left to face.

Definately makes up for the catastrophic events at Darlington this season.

Nah : the most significant results today were in the Blue Square South 1st leg playoffs (for promotion to the Conference)

Sutton 1, the mighty Wings of Welling United 2 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/woot.gif)

Basingstoke 0, the mighty Darts of Dartford 1 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/woot.gif)

Darlo are my 2nd team (behind Boro). I'm really worried that they won't even exist next year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Rangers are my Scottish team... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Boro lost all trace of form and missed out on a play-off spot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

I don't think it's been a very good season... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I was hoping the other team might come back and take it. I have a bit of a soft spot for them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Big match in Newcastle tomorrow. I was up there today and there were already quite a lot of Man City fans around.

I'm feeling a bit sad about our having no more football until August. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Euro 2012? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

We won't have any players there. They'll be premier league players and equivalent.
