Dear Everyone
The next Adult Learner event will be on 2nd February 2008, in Teddington. Bookings are now open. All details on the website here. Please remember, this opportunity is also open to Adult Learners who are not forums members - so teachers, please let any of your adult pupils who might be interested in taking part know about it. And if you have any queries, you know who to ask (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Cheers Katyjay |

With a degree of efficiency that is *totally* out of character I have put my form in the post, booked a place to stay and booked a flight!
Just hope the event isn't cancelled! I have put down that my piece is to be confirmed. The local music festival has an "Adult Instrumental Class" and is the last week in January, and I'm working hard on my piece for that, but I'd like to do something different in Teddington - only issue is What?? Have a couple of ideas. Well done KatyJay!! |

I have very few things already booked for February.
But one of those few things is on February 2nd. So I'm afraid, for the third year in a row, I can't come. Sorry... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |

And, within 20 hours of the site going up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif), I've received the first application - StuMac (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Thank you KJ.
Plenty of time to check things out (like Life (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ) then get back to you asap. And ALMOST enough time to practise... thanks |

There a few Adult Learners within NPL itself, so I will circulate the details to them as well.

I went to meet Alto today and she persuaded me to put in for us two to play a duet on violin (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Thanks for the date, katyjay. If I'm free (I'll check later) I shall be there to inflict my piano-playing on my fellow forummers.

I'm not good at advance planning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) but can't see why this date should be a problem so I HOPE to be there - just need to get myself organised!

I've had an enquiry from an NPL member of staff. She plays the sax to about grade 3 standard and is looking to form a small ensemble (maybe three players in total, not necessarily all sax players) to perform a piece at this event.
Any takers out there? |
