Has anyone heard of this book by Rhoda Rabin: "At the Beginning. Teaching Piano to the Very Young Child." What do you think of it. I just wanted to ask some opinions before purchasing it as it is £81.09.

I haven't heard of it, but would be very reluctant to pay that sort of price for any book!!!

I agree. It is an awful lot of money, which is why I am so hesitant.

I agree...does the book literally do what it says on the tin, or is there some sort of ancient secret about to be revealed here? It seems extortionate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I have a copy somewhere & read it ages ago. I didn't pay anything like that amount for it & I found it to be just quite good, not amazing, if I remember rightly. I certainly wouldn't pay a large amount for it.

Just looked it up on Amazon - I paid ?18.55 for it in 2003 - definitely wouldn't pay more than that.
