I booked by phone, and they did email me confirmation - and the charge has gone on to my credit card bill. I hope that my reply hasn't made you more concerned!

I've just listened to the Gershwin with a huge grin on my face. I am so glad these recordings are available, what a great memento of a fab day. Very well spotted allegretto!

Isn't it lovely being able to hear it - the day went so fast it's great to be able to listen back now and think 'yes we did do that!' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes, It's lovely to hear it back. The flutes are sounding particularly good I have to say! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Aw thank you - have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by some bits! Some very nice oboe solos in there too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Well, I have been able to confirm they took my money anyway! I hope things don't come too last minute as I had to put someone else's ticket in my name as they would not mail them abroad nor put them in the name of anyone other than the cardholder. The only way to get us a ticket was to have it sent to me so I'm getting two. We will then have to pay another fee to have his name put on the second ticket. I've had confirmation for only one of them, so at least will know when anything starts to happen and whether I get one copy or two of the stuff, and hope they don't assume I only want one of everything since I'm going to bring two of me!

****SPARE VIOLIN TICKET******

My ever unreliable friend has proven his unreliable status and is not coming. I have a ticket still in my name available to sell on (wasn't worth putting it in his name if he wasn't likely to show up or deal with the ticket, he was happy to just waste it!). I am not 100% sure how to do it but I think I need to send them details of who I want to sell it to and there is a fee to change the name. I will look up the details later. I can't seem to resell it to the box office for the offical waiting list but will be trying. If you are on the waiting list for a violin ticket keep your ear to the ground today, and if you are interested in buying the ticket from me if I can't get it back to the box office then let me know.
