Met with a friend and her two year old daughter for lunch. Afterwards we went to the river and with some bread I had brought with me for the very purpose, we fed the ducks. Which was lovely, I think I enjoyed it as much as the two year old. Why are there so many things you are supposed to stop enjoying once you grow up?!

Ha! My 22 year old lodgers picked up my 14 year old from school yesterday as he has a 2 hour gap between school and Explorers (scouts), which are both 25 mins drive from her, and they took him out to Burger King etc . They had to go to a toy shop as the 22 year old male wanted to see the scalextrix sets (it's nearly 22 year old's birthday!) Don't think men ever grow up- their toys just get more expensive!

True; very true. But please don't tell my wife. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

Edit: I should add that SB Junior and I went to a very good model railway exhibition near here a few months ago, and saw quite a few familiar faces from our local organist's association. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) My daughter got 100% in an AS module - got the results today! She is really pleased. had 2 good lessons today- one with a girl I've been teaching since Sep. She's making excellent progress! And one I've been teaching for years and we were working on Brahms clarinet sonata in Eb and I like that...

....and all my exam candidates stuff is coming together.... at last......they were worrying me a couple of weeks!
