Katyjay, Sorry I can't help either. The very best of luck though, I'm sure it will go really well. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hi everyone Is anyone free on Friday? My accompanist has just told me that her anticipated page-turner can't make it to my LTCL exam, so I need to find a replacement. The exam's at Trinity College in Greenwich, at 2pm - we'll be there from 1.30 or thereabouts - and should be over by about 2.50 pm. Please PM me if you would be free/prepared to do it. Thanks Katyjay Just about to PM Katyjay to say I could do it if she still hasn't found anyone. Good excuse to spend a bit of time in the British Library! |

Deborah has very kindly agreed to do the page-turning - thanks very much. 'Tis true (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'll try not to start crying during Beim Schlafengehen. DipABRSM page-turning for barcarolle last summer, LTCL page turning for katyjay this spring. Anyone going to help me get my page-turning fellowship in a forthcoming session? |

Well, I'm back! What an afternoon - a magical mystery tour around Greenwich, a bit of a gossip (it wasn't my fault we ended up talking about Dmitri Hvorostovsky, honest!) - oh, and katyjay did her recital. From my seat in the corner, far beyond the lowest notes of the piano, she did very well. The Menotti made me laugh, the Strauss made me cry, the whole lot made we want to sing!
katyjay will no doubt give you her views on the whole experience, but if it was down to me I'd be happy to award her an LTCL. |

Great (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). If she's anything like me, she'll be glad of having you there as I can remember very little of how my actual performance went when I come out the exam (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif).
