What a strange coincidence - this is the first day since well before christmas that I've actually felt well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

How annoying for you, Busybee. The main thing is you weren't hurt, though.

I feel like Pollyanna playing the 'glad game' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ugh! That film makes me feel sick... it's just too wholesome altogether (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Sorry about your oven though. It's weird that the plate didn't break. I hate it when that happens. I find I just stand and stare at the mess for 5 minutes wondering how I can hide it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Wow busybee! Sounds scary, glad you're ok!

I was going to stay off today, but decided to drag myself out of bed and suffer through... but I only have two lessons - it should be interesting to see if my teachers turn up!

There is definitely something a bit dodgy about glass oven doors. A few years ago I had a similar experience when removing the glass panel from our oven door to clean it - it suddenly shattered with no apparent blow or twisting etc. Nasty shock, you have my sympathies!

I can't imagine this ever happening to me - I'm far too lazy to remove the glass from my oven door! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

BusyBee, you have my commiserations. Your mishap is exactly the sort of thing I might do, but I would never have expected a glass oven door to shatter like that. How scary! I hope you can claim on the insurance, as it sounds expensive to replace.

I hope your heart rate is back to normal by now! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Warm gentle hug for you BusyBee, sounds like it really shocked you.

I'm glad you weren't physically injured.

When I came over from home to Headingley this morning (my usual Tues/Wed over here) I learned the office was broken into yesterday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) . No one told me when I was working at home on the Wirral yesterday.
All that went was two flatscreen monitors (not mine as I just use my laptop). But there were no absentees from the office staff yesterday. We had 100% attendance (that 10 people) both yesterday and today.
Oh oddly the thief left a copy of the Sunday Times for us. Probably couldnt carry a bulky newspaper and the monitors ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Can SOCO get fingerprints off newspapers? Hope they find the thief!
