Does anyone know how they process the results, as it doesn't seem to be in date order? I think I might cry if they don't come tomorrow!
I think I will join you! Really worried about the results - It's been really hard to get back into teaching this week not knowing the results. I had a couple of dodgy candidates who just didn't get their act together in time but I am now also worried about the others! |

Shaky G2 adult safely through, although failed scales section. Probably due to nerves, as she knows her scales! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Son did his exam on 21st at a special visit. I did provide our email address but realistically he won't find out till Mon 20th when back at school :-((( Now, the question is, should we delay the decision on trumpet purchase BEFORE or AFTER the result???? FUMOP the result was worth the wait... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party2.gif) 141 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hurrah.gif) (g3 trumpet) I just received my final results from the 31st of March today. 1 Pass 4 Merits 4 Distinctions I changed my teaching methods this term and I believe the consistent results were achieved by ensuring all my pupils had the relevant scale and sight reading book. This way all scales were learnt fluently and sight reading was tackled weekly. I would set 2 or 3 sight reading exercises to be learnt as completed pieces with dynamics etc. Most managed to work through at least 30 of the set studies for before the exam. These higher marks in the scales and sight reading definitely top up an average pass into a higher grade. Well done all round! It's more or less date order, but certain outside influences do come into play : if someone complains about an individual exam, for example, it will often hold up all that exam centre's session's results on the day the complained-about exam took place... |

Still waiting for March 30th results. This is becoming extremely frustrating.

STILL waiting for results from 26th. Unbelievably slow, and not very professional. They seem unable to explain why it's taking longer this time than ever before.

I also received another teachers mark sheet and certificate enclosed in my batch of results this time. I have never had that happen before. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I had a call from the board just before Easter asking if I'd received someone else's paperwork in error. I'm sure they would be grateful to hear from you - if you haven't already let them know! |

I find it bizarre that I've been giving out the exam fee slips and getting ready to enter the next lot whilst still waiting for results from the last session....!
Hurry up please! |

Actually I felt for the young guy who called me. It sounded a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack. I do hope there were not so many mix-ups that the blame will be placed on staff trying to get results out more quickly (as many were, this time, mine in 8 days) and we thus get a return to the longer turnaround time. |

Longer turnaround time - I've only just had my results online from 29th March - I don't want any longer turnarounds please!
But with regards to receiving other people's paperwork, it happened to me last year just before I went on hols. So I sent it back having rung the board. And the next day or so it reappeared through my letterbox. So I got a bit cross, and said that they should reimburse my postage because it was the second time I had to send it back. And please don't send it to me again because I'm off on hols, so it would delay things for the rightful owner. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Sorry for the rant. |

Arghh! The wait is killing me - still no result from 26th. My confidence in the AB is rapidly fading. I have had to face 13 pupils this week all eager to hear their results + am finding it very hard to keep smiling. Examiner was not the most pleasant in the world so beginning to wonder if there was a problem.
