You know they won't practise, but you'd sound bad to say so without really knowing them, so you take them on anyway. And you're proven right...

You are irrationally aggravated by people who smile all the time no matter what life throws at them...

Your car has had two punctures in a week and you just know there will be a third. And it happens...

And you don't get nominated as a cheerful poster. 'Cos you're not...

Anyone care to join me in a glass of wine to wallow?

I love you, Noodle. Just came back to see if there were any replies, thinking that I would be forever branded as the only cynical old cow on the forums...

This could be a bit of a challenge for me, with the profanity filter. But I'll do my best.

Have they re-opened the votes for the best profile pic, though? Judging by the comments it has got so far, yours would certainly have a head start.
I'd like to be a grump and a cynic too, please. And make it snappy.

Not only that, but my ####### exhaust fell off tonight. Just landed there in the middle of the road. Three kids and large dog in car. No warning whatsoever. Is my number up?

Was that your attempt to be grumpy? Sounds pretty convincing to me. Anyway, it's how old you feel on the inside, not the outside that counts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I think I will join. I never smile and I spit whenever I see joy.
