This is one of my favourites. I adore Simon's cat.

Cat news is that we are now back up to four. I never changed my signature when went down to three as I knew it wouldn't last. Two weeks ago I refused to take a kitten the vet offered me. I told him we were full and only if he really couldn't find anyone else. Well he did. But the Great Feline Gods in the sky have got their own back and we have another rescue job on our hands. Picked up on 1st November, limping, very thin, starving, thirsty, full of worms, ear nits and fleas to say nothing of huge fur balls pulling the skin to the point where it was obvioulsy painful - and that a pedigree Chinchilla.

Since we have had him most of the furballs have been taken off, he has had a course of antibiotics because of a nasty split in his skin under one of the furballs, and he has been treated for fleas and worms. Best of all he has put on a whole kilo. Although he obviously can't remember how to play he is beginning to look a little more like Simon's cat!

Our whole family loves the Simon's Cat cartoons, we cry with laughter no matter how many times we watch them! Our favourite is the Christmas Tree one!

Lovely story, Aquarelle - poor little guy to end up in such a state. He'll be fine now !

Capriccio - I still think the Christmas tree one is the best to date. I have a Simon's Cat diary, and it's raised many a smile - I must have a look on the website, in the hope they do them again for next year.

I adore Simon's Cat - he's got cats down to an absolute T and it always manages to put a smile on my face. Have already got my Simon's Cat diary for 2012 - can't wait to use it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Another Simon's cat lover here. We have two moggies, brothers now 16 years old. Neither recognise weekend lie-ins so the Simon's cat scenario happens a lot on Saturdays and Sundays!

There's a video on bbc-youtube
'Proof we are Kinder to Animals than People - Live At The Apollo - Series 7 Episode 2 - BBC One ' By comedian ed byrne, but contains strong language so not posting a link. I found it funny (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm not particularly a cat person (apologies to much-appreciated Forum friends who I know are...) but I find Simon's Cat HILARIOUS. This was one of my first and best discoveries on YouTube. Keep 'em coming! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I want the Simon's Cat t-shirt (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Just been watching Cat Man Do - it is so funny, exactly what my cat used to do although she substituted a jar for the baseball bat but I still ended up with a mysterious black eye (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I hadn't seen this one! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I once found one of our cats sitting under the Christmas tree looking angelic, but with a long, sparkly strand of lametta hanging out of his mouth (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Aquarelle, I'm so glad your fourth cat found you and hope he continues to improve (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
