Have just read 'The Improbably Pilgrimage of Harold Fry' - its in the top few paperback novels. enjoyable, some nice bits of humour and pathos. Easy reading.
Now I am on to William Boyds 'Waiting for Sunrise' more my sort of book. I quite like to read collections of modern stories of the 'short story format' , where you get perhaps 6-10 short stories in one book. William Trevors ones are very good, but does anyone have any suggestions. |
