Not being well enough to play isn't much fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I have blisters on the sole of my feet from an allergic reaction and so piano with any peddles is off the cards for a bit!! not good!

I'm scared too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I may just dig a big hole and sit in it forever (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I will dig one next to you and we can hide!!! Although instead of building a hole, we could sit under the stone. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I hope you feel better soon though

^ I tried that last year and it didn't work. You might want to build an igloo instead.

Every year, about this time, the AS/A2 results come out.

Also, every year, about this time, there are people complaining on the TV about how A levels aren't as hard as they were, or they've been devalued etc. etc.

Why can't we have a year where people simply say 'Congratulations' to everyone. Everyone who's been successful in their A levels have worked so hard. Give them the praise they deserve.

Does that mean I can demand a remark because mine were too hard? (3 A levels all failed)

My lovely niece gets her A-level results tomorrow. I really hope she gets the results she wants.

But even if she doesn't she'll be no less lovely, no less loved, and I'm pretty sure no less happy and successful in her life than if she does.

Quite right, TSax! But A-levels are the culmination of 13 years of schooling and are bound to seem very important at the time. Also, there's no denying that the results do determine the course of your future life, whether they are better or worse than you hoped. I agree with Barry that it's so unfair to rubbish people's results when they have worked so hard to achieve them, and I hope that at least here on the forums we can just say a big WELL DONE to everyone.

Mrs F#m is her schools Exam officer, so she had to go in to download the results yesterday. She had to go into school at 7 am today, because apparently 'clearing' system starts at 8 am , and unless they get results out early any pupils ringing up for clearing are at a disadvantage if other schools get in first . So they were told they could have their results from 8am.

Oh I know! After the standard grade/higher/adv higher results came out that is basically ALL that the Scottish news was about, just because the percentage rate of passing them had gone up by it's highest in such-and-such years!!! I mean do they WANT us to fail?!? Grrr: I could probably rant all day about this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) !!!

WELL DONE to everyone who got their results today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)!!!!!
